1. About Wiz Utils

Wiz Utils ("we", "us", "our", or the "Service") is a Discord utility bot designed to provide server-management, moderation, automation, welcome, role-management, messaging, and other administrative features.

Features can be configured differently for individual Discord servers. The information processed therefore depends on the features enabled by the server administrators.

Depending on the features enabled in a Discord server, Wiz Utils may process the following categories of information:

3. Message Content

Wiz Utils requests the Discord Message Content Intent because message content is required for certain bot functionality.

Message content may be processed to:

• recognize and process the bot's configured prefix commands;
• provide message-based utility and moderation functionality;
• detect text messages in configured media-only channels;
• temporarily process recently deleted messages for the snipe functionality; and
• create moderation logs for configured media-only channels when a text message is removed.

Message content is not used to train, develop, or improve artificial intelligence or machine-learning models.

4. Temporary Deleted-Message Processing

Wiz Utils includes a snipe feature that temporarily keeps the most recently deleted message for a channel in the bot's runtime memory.

This information can include the deleted message content, the message author, the deletion time and attachment URLs. This temporary runtime data is used to provide the snipe command and is not intended to be a permanent message archive.

In configured media-only channels, text messages can also be sent to the server's configured Discord moderation-log channel when the bot removes them.

5. Local Configuration and Server Data

Wiz Utils stores certain server configuration data locally so that configuration can survive bot restarts.

Depending on the enabled features, locally stored configuration can include:

• server-specific welcome settings;
• configured channel and role IDs;
• automatic-role configuration;
• logging channel configuration;
• role-panel configuration;
• saved theme configuration; and
• Legacy activity-time information for the supported activity feature.

These configuration files are used to restore the bot's functionality after a restart.

6. How We Use Information

Information processed by Wiz Utils may be used to:

• operate and provide the bot's requested features;
• manage server roles, channels and configured settings;
• provide welcome and automated messaging functionality;
• provide moderation and message-management functionality;
• maintain role panels and server configurations;
• provide activity-based server features;
• diagnose errors and technical problems;
• maintain service reliability and availability; and
• respond to support or privacy requests.

We do not use message content for advertising profiling or AI/ML model training.

7. Data Sharing

We do not sell personal information.

Wiz Utils may transmit or display information within Discord when required by an enabled feature. For example, configured moderation-log functionality may send information about a removed message to a Discord channel selected by the server administrator.

The bot may also communicate with its own supporting services, such as its status/API service, when required for the bot's functionality.

We do not intentionally provide message content to advertisers or use it for advertising purposes.

8. Data Retention

We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the applicable functionality and maintain the Service.

• Server configuration: retained while required for the bot to provide configured server features, unless removed or deleted.
• Legacy activity information: retained where required to maintain the activity-time functionality.
• Message content: processed when required for bot functionality. Recently deleted-message information used by the snipe feature is held in runtime memory rather than being intended as a permanent message-content database.
• Technical logs: retained only as reasonably necessary for troubleshooting, security and service operation.

Because retention can depend on the specific feature and server configuration, server administrators may contact us regarding deletion of stored configuration associated with their server.

9. Data Security

We use reasonable technical and administrative measures to protect information processed by Wiz Utils against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure or destruction.

Communication with supported web services is performed using encrypted network connections where available.

No online service can guarantee absolute security. If we become aware of a material security incident affecting personal information, we will take reasonable steps to investigate, mitigate and provide any notifications required by applicable law.

10. Discord

Wiz Utils operates through Discord and relies on information provided by Discord's platform and APIs. Your use of Discord is also subject to Discord's own terms and privacy practices.

Wiz Utils does not control Discord's independent processing of information.

11. Children's Privacy

Wiz Utils is not specifically designed for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly request personal information from children for purposes unrelated to providing the Discord service.

Server administrators control which Wiz Utils features are enabled in their Discord server and are responsible for configuring those features appropriately.

Administrators should ensure that their use of moderation, logging and other bot functionality complies with their own applicable privacy obligations and Discord's rules.

14. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when the Service, its functionality, data practices or applicable requirements change.
